Which fastening should I choose?

Over-collar sleeves for any dog left alone, crated, boarded or working in cover — there is no knot to tighten or snag. Ties for supervised wear. Break-away snaps when you want adjustability without a permanent knot.

How do I size a dog bandana?

Neck circumference and, for over-collar styles, the WIDTH of the collar strap. The strap width is the measurement people forget and the one that decides whether the sleeve goes on at all.

Which print method lasts through washing?

Accepted Answer

Dye sublimation, because the colour ends up in the fibre rather than sitting on it. Plastisol and vinyl transfers crack and peel within a season, and they peel into a mouth.

Will the colour run onto a light-coloured dog?

Not on colourfast fabric, which is what we use and what we test wet. Saturated reds and navies on cheap stock are the usual offenders and it only shows up in the rain.

Do cooling bandanas really work?

Yes, by evaporation, and only while they are damp. They help a warm dog and do very little in high humidity. They are not a reason to walk a dog in the heat of the day.

Do you redraw artwork?

Yes, free. A bandana is mostly seen folded to a triangle, so a design centred on the flat square often ends up hidden. We lay artwork out for the folded shape and show you both.
